Leonardo D’Antoni grew up in Mar Del Plata Argentina and immigrated to the United States at the age of ten. During his undergraduate degree, Leonardo studied psychology and social behavior as well as film studies, receiving a Bachelors degree in film production from San Francisco State University. He worked as a lighting technician in the film industry in San Francisco while working on his own projects and as director of photography on short and feature-length films. As his technical abilities grew, so did his desire to write and direct his own projects.

He is currently based in Brooklyn, New York and working on his Master’s degree at NYU. His work explores the effects of macro socio-economic changes on inter-personal relationships. He is concentrating on writing and directing his own films and developing his skills as a cinematographer.
